Gratitude Is…

Gratitude is a wonderful thing to have. Whether you show your appreciation to someone or something, it’s always a good feeling whenever you say “thank you” aloud. Especially if you are genuinely thankful for something. Being grateful is a way of showing happiness or satisfaction, and it’s worth doing so more often.

What are you thankful for during the recent Thanksgiving? Was it for family? Was it for the food on your table?? Or was it for a new car you bought recently? Gratitude is a wonderful thing to have. Whether you show your appreciation to someone or something, it’s always a good feeling whenever you say “thank you” aloud. Especially if you are genuinely thankful for something. Being grateful is a way of showing happiness or satisfaction, and it’s worth doing so more often.

Gratitude is love. Being grateful not only shows that you are appreciative, but also shows that you are satisfied with whatever you have. In many cases, being genuinely grateful shows the other person you are thanking that you value them. Whether to a friend or family, gratitude is always welcomed. It even shows respect towards a stranger if they helped you with something. Don’t forget to give thanks to the person who helped you.

Gratitude is happiness. Have you ever said the phrase “oh thank goodness” before? You most likely used the phrase when you want to express how relieved you are. Maybe in high school, a difficult assignment’s due date was moved. Perhaps you survived a car accident. Maybe you were nervous about flying in a plane, but you turned out to be safe and sound. If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands and be grateful.

Gratitude is patience. You’ve probably heard of the phrase “could be worse” at one point. Be grateful for everything, even if something doesn’t go as planned. Think of failures as death. If you’re not dead, be thankful you’re alive! Whenever you fail at something, it’s not a complete failure. As humans, we learn through trial and error. In other words, experience. Mistakes make us human, and you are no exception.

Gratitude is mindfulness. Whenever someone helps you, how many times do you say “thank you” to them? You may say it depends on the situation, which is completely normal for us all. Depending on the urgency of said task, you may be more inclined to be more grateful for greater and more stressful tasks. Remember to be thankful for even the little things in life that you barely pay attention to.

Being grateful means a lot; not only for other people, but also for you. In some cases, it can reveal your personality, maybe reveal another side of a person, or maybe make someone feel a little happier during a bad day for them. Whatever you are thankful for, always be thankful that you are alive and well.

Poetic Paragraph

Be thankful, be grateful,
don’t you be forgetful.
Let your thank you be heard,
let it spread like a bird.

To your friends, to your family,
let it be heard by you happily.
No shame in gratitude,
It’s a great beatitude.

Hope Is...

Hope is bravery. Sometimes in life, there will be times where you must take risks. Whether you are trying to get the favor of business sponsors or sailing alone through the rough seas. This is what we call a “Leap of Faith.”

Love is..

Love is kind. You may see on an Instagram post where a girl gets a bag of her dreams because her man bought her one. You may or may not get jealous, whether because you wanted the bag or wanted such a man.
