Lesson 4 | The Mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church

Seventh-day Adventists do not regard their church as just another denomination. In reality it began as a movement, drawing the attention of Christians from a variety of denominations to the soon coming of Jesus Christ. This sense of excitement and urgency about the coming of their Lord has enabled Seventh-day Adventists to face disappointments and setbacks with an eternal hope, and to reach out energetically to meet the spiritual and temporal needs of people all over the world.
