Lesson 9 | Life in the Church

Just as the initial steps involved in becoming a disciple of Christ require interaction between oneself and the living Jesus, continued spiritual growth comes at least partly as a result of interactions with other people, both believers and nonbelievers. This is why the Church—and the opportunities it provides for service and fellowship—are so important. In its complete form, the Christian life is like a chemical reaction that requires the presence of other “elements” to reach fruition.
